In 2024, Worthington Connects partnered with RacePenguin to launch our first annual Christmas in July 5K! With nearly 100 participants in our inaugural year, the event was a tremendous success. Local small businesses generously sponsored the race and donated prizes, adding excitement and heart to the day.

Runners and walkers arrived in festive holiday attire, creating a fun and spirited atmosphere while supporting a great cause. The event raised essential funds and brought the community together in a unique, joyful way — proving that the spirit of giving isn’t just for December.

We’re excited to continue this tradition with an evening run on Saturday, July 25, 2026, and grow the impact year after year!
